A Congolese focused company in the international community. We are a part of powering the future - and leading the way forward on compliance from its own mining tenures and interests with local and international regulations in the mining industries.

Our Services
Generating sustainable acquisition and delivery of Congolese mined minerals.

INDUSTRIALLY MINED PRODUCTS
OLEIA’s acquisition of a range of strategic earth minerals, metals and materials inclusive of (but not limited to) gold, colombite tantalite (coltan), cobalt, rough diamonds, tin, other precious and semiprecious stones and materials, from sustainably controlled mining operations.

ARTISANALLY MINED PRODUCTS
The development of education and ethically driven exposure in skills training among our artisanal miners is constant.
Miners are trained in the use of best practice without our company's disruption of the deep, rich, local cultural and community bonds which makes any type of mining in this unique environment possible in the first place.
We build sustainable mining activity into the local cultural fabric itself, in this way making it relatable for local stakeholders.

Environmental, Social & Corporate Governance (ESG)
As a company intimately entwined with D R Congo and its peoples’ aspirations, the OLEIA Group SARL places itself at the forefront of ethical, sustainable, mining activity in the region.
We are also instrumental in piloting the social impact and corporate practices in the industry for seamless alignment with the international community.
DR Congo is home to the planet’s second largest rainforest after the Amazon in Brazil. It is also home to the world’s deepest river - among the world’s largest - but most importantly the greater part of the Congo Basin which is the “world’s biggest carbon sink.” Its very existence is critical to oxygen quality, ultimate food and water security worldwide, and for the protection of numerous endangered species.
Mining and its related industries are closely linked with the management and sustainability of the environment. This is a firm priority for us who understand the natural qualities of the local flora and fauna, waterways and air quality, to sustain human life, animal welfare, and the growth of industries dependent upon optimum environmental quality - during, and after, its mining lifetime.
Our attention to global Environmental, Social & Corporate Governance (ESG) compliance, financial transparency reporting, and all associated local and international laws, is reflected in our dedicated departmental management of these policies, drawing upon the knowledge and guidance of the best experts in this rapidly growing field.
We are not only vigilant about the development and maintenance of a world class infrastructure to support our global supply chain but our commitment to the peoples of DR Congo, in whose communities we function, within a symbiotic, synergistic, relationship for the procurement and mining of our resource products. In this we are without industry peers.
As a company, with both local and international expression, invested in the mining and movement of sensitive resource products, OLEIA Group SARL unreservedly states pursuant to Section 54, Part 6 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, among other legislation, that we recognise the suffering that modern slavery and human trafficking causes. We recognise the responsibility to investigate any suspicion of human trafficking or slavery in our mining and supply chain and we treat this responsibility with grave seriousness.
Our working practices respect human rights. OLEIA Group SARL adheres to the monitored health and safety policies governing all employees, colleagues, contractors, suppliers, miners, mining communities, along with logistics support throughout the entire supply chain.
The company conducts rigorous risk assessment analysis and due diligence in tandem with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains to ensure that they are reflected in our business contracts with all parties, as well as staff training for OLEIA Group SARL, its subsidiaries, or any of its commercial associates. All staff are trained to recognise and regularise any identified breaches of our ESG reflected policies.
The company is committed to a percentage of its profits being recycled into community development activity with emphasis placed on childhood education to the age of majority, protection of the rights of the child, sanctions against any child labour practices, the protection of their rights, corporeal dignity, economic empowerment and the education of women otherwise unable to benefit from it.
The company's executive has consequentially established a Sustainability & Governance Committee which focuses on issues of corporate social responsibility, inclusive of environmental issues and human rights, with oversight from international lawyers and global compliance consultants.
OLEIA Group SARL is also in the process of making the company a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact in confirmation of our commitment to its ten point principles including, amongst others, the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour and effective abolition of child labour.
These policies are, in addition, embedded within OLEIA Group SARL's Code of Conduct and Ethics in line with our commitment to the Rule of Law and Human Rights, similarly reflected in diversity on our management and Board.
Our reporting and any possible reviews or updates of our ESG practices along with any other guidelines and statements occurs at the end of each financial year for the company.

QUALITY ASSURANCE, LOGISTICS and SHIPPING
OLEIA Group SARL’s testing facilities, packaging of goods, and shipping arrangements are world class. Our products, after mining ore, are tested for metal/mineral content only by assayers and laboratories acknowledged to be the best in the business, such as Alexander Stewart International Limited, the metallurgy departments at select universities with reputation as centres of global excellence in Geosciences, etc.
The movement of our goods is tracked and tagged under the iTSCi (International Tin Supply Chain Initiative) controls for the elimination of conflict free minerals from normal commercial transaction globally.
Lithium, Coltan ore (colombite tantalite) in particular, and other 3T metals like Tin and Tungsten, is of such immeasurable and strategic importance to the functioning and power generation of the modern world economy - from its applications in Gigafactories to decarbonise energy supply via lithium-ion batteries, mass use electronic equipment, communication technology, aeronautics, electrically powered cars and mass transit etc; that its movement must be totally secured from end to end.
Our quality delivery process is maintained via internationally respected logistics handlers and shippers (the French logistics company Bollore among them) working hand in hand with our assayers and regulators to ensure tight quality controls from the mining sites all the way through the process to our customers at their nominated port of delivery.
